@ebc06089 I've no fucking idea what that means. But I have an idea, one day, someone will come along with the technology to allow me, a Candinavian, to have a real-time conversation with a person of interest from Gitmo Nation Down Under, so I don't have to wait for the Google translation, and such.
@4f50b305 Bully for you. I did that commute, from the ferry terminal in Nanaimo (JCD brutalized that one, today), for over a decade, and I'm so happy to say I haven't made that drive in over a year.
@4f50b305 Don't get me started. The story goes that the retarded NDP govt of the day ran out of money and decided against overpasses and cloverleafs and such. In reality, I assume this was their Commie plan all along; slow us down and reduce our fuel consumption.
We may not have human resources, but, taking care of these canine bitches sure takes a lot of effort. There's 12 pounds of chicken legs simmering away. The missus already scrambled 60 eggs for them. Then we add a 5 pound bag of veggies, and about 5 pounds of basmati rice. On top of that we'll add some chicken stock and a dollop or three of yogurt to make up a meal.

4.7 pounds of prime rib roast, liberally coated with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, going into the fridge for a 24 hour dry brine before I cook it over charcoal, tomorrow. A little thank you to our neighbour, the carpenter, who really helped a lot on the renovations, especially the tub install. We'll also do up some roast vegetables, and a pear gallete with fruit from our yard. That hunk of meat was $85 Candinavian.

@4f50b305 That way I can take this monster one ton beast off road and not have it rearrange my guts, and such, while traversing over boulers, and so forth.
@63f24fca We package them up in giant ZipLoc bags, and throw them into the deep freeze. Each bag is good for 3 days worth of meals, lest the chicken goes sideways. Which has happened when we made larger batches. This amount usually makes about 10 bags, or a month's worth of food.
