 What are luminaries? 👇

#Hollywood luminaries are an innovative invention from America, which is known for its thin ceramic plate. Their installation takes place without significant grinding of the teeth due to their ultra-thinness.

After a light cleaning of the surface of the plate, a special composition is applied for maximum adhesion to tooth enamel.

Compared to ceramic veneers, luminaries can be removed without damaging the enamel, returning the teeth to their original aesthetics.

To put a pin - to save a tooth

A pin can be compared to a crutch or a prosthesis, it is an artificial support for the upper part of the tooth, a rod that is fixed in the root canal.

Most often, pins are made of titanium alloy - this is a unique metal that is biocompatible with the tissues of the body, so it does not cause rejection.
In addition, the material is very strong: aircraft landing gear struts are made of titanium, so the metal pin copes with the chewing load without any problems.

After installing the pin, the dentist only has to build up the upper part of the tooth with the help of composite or other materials.

 Granuloma of the tooth

Granuloma is a nodular inflammation of the periodontium, i.e. the soft tissues that surround the tooth. In appearance, it is an elastic tubercle that "blows out" on the gums in the area of the root of the tooth.

Inside it is a liquid-filled capsule in which bacteria are actively multiplying. Granuloma appears on the root or basal part of the tooth, but most often a dense bubble is localized on the apex of the root.

Visually, a tooth granuloma is diagnosed when it grows to 3–8 mm. If the size of the nodule increases to 1 cm or more, the granuloma grows into a cyst.

Due to the fact that periodontal inflammation is initially asymptomatic, it is rarely possible to detect the disease in its early stages.
