With #FediForum coming up next week, we thought we'd give you a little more info on our new service for server admins - Patchwork.
Patchwork servers won't just benefit the admins who run them, but also the people who use them. For example, admins can choose to add complex post types to their server, including:
- Long Posts
- Post Scheduling
- Rich text
- Local Only Posts
We're happy to chat to server admins about what Patchwork can do!

It's been really interesting to see [@jaz](https://mastodon.iftas.org/@jaz) and the team at [@iftas](https://mastodon.iftas.org/@iftas) discussing their vision for connecting moderators across the Fediverse.
At Newsmast we've recently been reaching out to other moderators and admins to help us with content we may not have the context or language skills to understand.
It'll be great to have a simple way for moderators to communicate and learn from one another!

We hosted our first discussion at #FediForum and it went pretty well 🥳
If you want to get in touch so we can talk more, don't hesitate! You can DM us here or email support@newsmast.org
Some really interesting discussion with the team at [@iftas](https://mastodon.iftas.org/@iftas) regarding moderation and the roles of admins as we go forward!

With Bluesky bridged two-way and Threads federating one-way, we’re now going to extend our knowledge-sharing Communities by bringing in hand-picked contributors from these two sources. All our moderation - blocks, filters and human moderation - will remain in place.
For us bridging to Bluesky, and next to Nostr, isn’t about shitposters or bitcoiners, but to engage with thoughtful, stimulating people - and there are lots out there. That’s why we’re expanding our contributors, and launching opt-in posts from our Feeds on Bluesky.
