A little of what I’ve been working on:
Long form pieces:
- The golden age of baseball autograph inserts
- All about salesman samples
- Vintage baseball set advertising
- MSA Discs
- Dealer sell sheets
- Venezuelan Albums
- Baseball sets sponsored by meat companies
Short form pieces:
- Wrapper redemptions in 1992
- Skybox T-shirts
- Topps remembers Jim Thorpe
- The Gelman Collection
- 1952 Topps double and triple print sets
Ultra short form:
- The weekly Post War Cards Newsletter: https://www.postwarcards.com/newsletter/
Tony Galovich wrote a three-page article about "investing" in unopened card packs and boxes for the June 1992 issue of Alan Kaye's Sports Cards News & Price Guides; it brought about a lot of conversation on FB, so I thought I'd share the entire thing on the blog.

Putting together a complete run of 1967 Topps Venezuela Retirado cards is pretty hard, particularly ones in decent condition, making this complete set of 50 that were auctioned off together in April 2006 all the more impressive.

Miss the first issue of The Post War Cards Newsletter this morning? I kicked it off with a rare look at a 1954 Topps Ted Williams Advertising Sign-I know of only two examples in the hobby!
Be sure to subscribe so you don’t miss the next one: https://www.postwarcards.com/newsletter/https://m.primal.net/LCfv.jpg
How's this for rare and historically significant: a Pete Rose and Bart Giamatti signed 1983 All-Star Game First-Day Cover?!
