No, the validity of the novus ordo does not depend on the holiness of the priest. You must go on Sundays to meet your obligation. 

 It confuses me that when you see another person do something improper during the Mass, you as a traditional Catholic would consider failing to meet your Sunday obligation. Please keep going, maybe write a letter to the priest, or to the bishop, and in the meantime you could stand and receive on the tongue.
