👋 Booster fomerly known as user39somethingsomething checking in, hopefully my username is fixed this time.

Last week I asked about desktop hardware and loved your suggestions. I was very close to getting a Beelink until I spotted an excellent deal on FB Marketplace for a SFF PC with a modern Ryzen 9. My seller was excellent and I'm very happy with my purchase. It can be a small gamble, but in my case the seller did this as a hobby and was very thoughtful.

For the tuxies, have you considered adding a category that's about the show? Best episode, best interview, best challenge, best host(??!?), etc etc.

Thanks for the Fedora coverage! As someone whose dev environment is much trickier on NixOS, I find Fedora to strike the right balance for my needs.

I'm hoping to buy my first Linux desktop soon and wanted to see if y'all had an suggestions, tips, or wisdom to share. This will be primarily for dev and personal work, maybe some light gaming, and I like the idea of being able to play around with AI. I have built a gaming PC before, so I'm open to that, but prebuilt could also be alluring.

Hi! I'm a long time Mac guy but I'm slowly but surely moving over to Linux. I'm in the market for hardware and would love to know if Brent has any thoughts he could share on the Framework 13 he's been using.

My old setup was to use a MacBook Air as both my desktop and laptop by pairing it with a display when at home. Is there any reason why a Framework might not be up for this task? Is it capable of being a daily driver?

Love the show. I'm so glad I found this podcast and would love to see a Texas meetup 🤠
