Free speech means that, yes, an extremist may have the chance to voice their opinions, but at the same time, everyone else has the freedom to respond and engage with them. If such a person were banned by a central authority, they would likely find an alternative platform anyway. The beauty of decentralization lies in the fact that even someone with extreme views, regardless of why they believe them, can be exposed to a reality where people engage with them and challenge their opinions. This approach, rather than silencing them on mainstream social media, avoids deepening their belief that they’re “onto something” just because they’ve been shut down—fueling their conviction that “the truth must be suppressed.”
Definitely I will have some spending transactions on #Nostr or on Corny 🌽
But also it should be like “stacking node” since I got little incomes in sats.
I will be transferring some sats to my cold storage on main chain after fulfilling the WholeCoinJourney node.
As I said on corn, I wanted to open 500k channel and then sending to my hardware wallet some bigger UTXO’s from that channel.
But since I can’t afford 500k channel now, there is question if I should rather wait and risk that price will go higher, or open channel with 200k capacity. If this channel be fulfilled, I could send 100k UTXO to main chain.
Or just do custodial service thinks, and wait till I can afford bigger channels on my own? But that is kinda opposite of #Bitcoin étos.
What do you think Vic please, is that 100k enough as a UTXO? Thx G 🫡♥️
My daily income in sats is like 120sats/day, but I want to grow it to smthn like 2000sats/day with my miners that should arrive soon.
Btw have a great day boss 🕊️
I just witnessed a conversation between an anarchist and a commie about #Bitcoin and what the hell, by the end of the discussion they were in the same boat.
This surprised me more than the price we are currently at.
This made me want to buy more Satoshi even at the price we are at.
I was simple man.
Now I’m simple man who just want less fiat.

Btw happy ATH day 🚀🎊 https://pomf2.lain.la/f/yhisxhh.jpg

Oh, here we go, friend of mine who never showed respect towards a Bitcoin and always laugh to me when I mentioned it, asked me about best Bitcoin faucet 😀😀 Are we on top?
Anyway short story tell I said him that he can start be active on #Nostr and
build/ create something, then I showed him my stats on Nostrband where I got 77k SATS recived and 114k sended with words that he don't need to send that much as I, he just can do whatever he wants and if it would be vaulted for someone, maybe he will get some SATS without spending time on retarded nobrained faucets.
Then I told him that at the end of the day mining would be best faucet 😁
His answer got me "But I don't want to do that much work, I just want to get some bitcoins"
I laughed at him with "With this mindset you will not get any, V4V only or get some second job and go buy that expensive Bitcoins you moron"
He looked confused, but I think I put a seed to grow into his brain.
Maybe soon we will get another building ostrich 👻
Bitcoin ≠ Fiat
Btw sadly my node is still not ready but I'm already downloading Blockchain!
Have a great day NostRICHES 🥰
#Gm nostr
Today I got rest from fiat job, so it’s time to #Bitcoin and #Nostr thinks,.
I orange pilled myself instead of drinking Matcha latte in the morning, so I see it as a good productive day 🌞

Gm NostRICHES, hope my node will be online today.
I'm gonna try to run pruned Blockchain on my raspberry pi 5 with public node for receiving and main private node on some lightweight Linux at my thinkpad with private channel to that receiving node.
Question is should I stay with umbrel on that raspberry, or should I try something else.
Is raspiblitz or Start9 better than ☂️?
Any opinions are welcome 🤗

Seems like @0xchat is not on the FDroid store, any suggestions guys please where to begin?
I guess Nsec.app is must have, but with client maybe I’ll stick with Amethyst.
I’ll try @Zapstore also, but any other recommendations for this kind of stuff?

# **Destination: Medieval Venice, 1100 AD**
*How did Venice build its trade empire through collaboration, innovation, and trust in decentralized networks?*
---
## **Venice: A City of Merchants and Innovators**
In medieval times, Venice was a symbol of freedom and prosperity. Unlike the monarchies that dominated Europe, Venice was a republic – a city-state where important decisions were made by the Council of Nobles, and (the Doge, the elected chief magistrate of Venice who served as a ceremonial head of state with limited power), not an absolute ruler. Venice became synonymous with innovative approaches to governance, banking, and trade networks, which led to its rise as one of the most powerful trading centers of its time.
---
### **Decentralized Trade Networks**
The success of Venice lay in its trust in decentralized trade networks. Every merchant, known as a **patrician**, could freely develop their trade activities and connect with others. While elsewhere trade was often controlled by kings and local lords, Venetians believed that prosperity would come from a free market and collaboration between people.
Unlike feudal models based on hierarchy and absolute power, Venetian trade networks were **open** and based on **mutual trust**. Every merchant could own ships and trade with the Middle East, and this decentralized ownership of trade routes led to unprecedented prosperity.
---
### **Story: The Secret Venetian Alliance**
A young merchant named **Marco**, who inherited a shipyard from his father, was trying to make a name for himself in the bustling Venetian spice market. In Venice, there were many competitors, and competition was fierce. Marco, however, learned that an opportunity lay outside the traditional trade networks – among **small merchants** who were trying to maintain their independence from the larger Venetian patricians.
Marco decided to form an alliance with several other small merchants. Together, they began to share ships, crew costs, and information about trade routes. By creating this informal network, they were able to compete with the larger patricians who controlled the major trade routes. Through **collaboration** and shared resources, they began to achieve profits they would never have achieved alone.
In the end, Marco and his fellow merchants succeeded, not because they had the most wealth or influence, but because they trusted each other and worked together. They proved that small players could thrive, even in a market dominated by powerful patricians.
Satoshi ends his journey here, enlightened by the lesson that even in a world where big players exist, trust and collaboration can ensure that the market remains free and open for everyone.
---
## **Venice and Trust in Decentralized Systems**
Venice was a symbol of how **decentralization** could lead to prosperity. There was no need for kings or powerful rulers, but instead, trust and collaboration among merchants led to the creation of a wealthy city-state.
Venice demonstrated that when people collaborate and share resources, they can achieve greater success than in a hierarchical system with a single central ruler.
---
## **A Lesson from Venice for Today's World**
Today, as we think about the world of Bitcoin and decentralized finance (DeFi), Venice reminds us that trust among individuals and collaboration are key to maintaining independence and freedom. Just as in Venice, where smaller merchants found strength in collaboration, we can also find ways to keep the crypto world decentralized, open, and fair.

How can we learn from a thousand-year-old decentralized society?
How does such an old society connect to today?
Which man am I writing about in yesterday's historical story?
These are the questions I seek to answer in the next episode of Satoshi's Time-Traveling.
''The lesson for us today is clear: centralization of power—whether in legal or financial systems—can easily lead to the erosion of personal freedom. In today’s Bitcoin ecosystem, we see figures like *****"

I started writing it before i wroted that post 5h ago as the idea of M.Saylor came to me, thinking that either someone would be interested or not, i need to share it.
It looks like it won't but I hope at least one person will learn from this story. You'll have it online in a couple of hours when I just correct my English to make it more sonorous, I'm not a native speaker after all.
Still nobody interested?

I have some time to spare at work today, but I have to stay here for a while to fulfill the legal requirement of my working hours (which seems absurd to me xD).
I could use this time to write another story based on history, but this time not from my own ancestors. Instead, it will be from a time period that’s my favorite example of how forced monopoly laws on anything you can imagine are total nonsense.
Specifically, it will be the story of one of the world’s oldest parliaments and how Satoshi could learn from it as he “time travels in search of knowledge.”
Please let me know, and I’d appreciate every reshare. I’ve thought of an important historical point from Medieval Iceland that relates to current events with that dude M.Saylor in the Bitcoin ecosystem. What do you think?
