 How far along is it? I tried it for an hour a while ago and the interface was full of 'feature not yet implemented' tags. The tech tree, for example, only had a tiny amount of the planned options implemented, which made me feel like I didn't actually have a choice when picking.
I'm eager to try it again sometime when it feels closer to a finished game.

 I really think that this is a case where IPFS would shine. A content-based address space sort of takes care of the trust element. People could pin their favorite repos and distribute hosting costs. Multiple front-ends could be developed independently that all utilize the same shared storage.
