I use grapheneOS, but I still use Google Play to manage updating (most) of my apps.
I have a Google account soley for this purpose.
Suddently tonight - locked out for "unusual activity". Good reminded that these cetralized app stores can do whatever the fuck they want.
Yeah I was using Aurora previously to get around having one. I read that its technically not as secure as Google Play has some extra checks in place to help avoid malicious apps. It convinced me enough to go the route I did.
But this is exactly the problem - getting randomly rugged with no appeal.
Back to Aurora and Obtainium it is!
as a side note, it would be great to make that content zappable, and hold the zaps in a way only the rightful owner can claim [once they realize what they're missing]
I paid and renewed for Wine relay too, mostly because Mazin seemed to be one of the earlier guys experimenting with different ways to run and setup relays etc.
Of course there are free alternatives, but someone's gotta pay the bills otherwise we'll be back at "if its free, you are the product" before you know it.
I feel sometimes there are wealthier people NOT paying to push things forward though, which is annoying to think about.
haha no I think its kinda peferct. Remix the remix.
I guess I think of the Lightning Store version as the "original bootleg" but you make a valid point 😂
Even if sources like Wikileaks choose not to use nostr, I guess content can still be bridged across to nostr relays by a third party, as long as the content is freely available
Such a nice little remix 🧘
Also highly recommend the artist, Hiatus. If you like chill electronic like Jon Hopkins you'll love this guy's stuff too.

I've been using Primal for a bit on Android, feeling like its time to get back to Amethyst. Its still the superior client imo.
Kinda can't be aresed to setup those new relay settings though, cant imagine how new users feel when they see that tbh 😮💨
ohh yep, Ive seen one in person recently, owner was not happt with his purchase and he couldnt get it to even perform simple tasks 😬
Oh well, you have a piece of failed ai tech history! 😛
