This is my favorite meme in my collection.
It's got it all:
Despair
Wordplay
Relatable circumstance
Beans
Schadenfreude

Tons of room on this Boeing flight across the Atlantic.
The staff reminded us that if we had any concerns about the safety of the plane, they have an open door policy.
I hope you're putting in a bid to do this for them so you can make a ton of money but then have a government Ecash system compete directly against the likes of GSpot_420_69🚀 and see who wins.
Lightning offers more private transactions than any other insurance payment method and does so without introducing debt.
In order for it to become widespread, it needs to meet the global market demand and, unfortunately, the global market wants dollars. Tether's success tells us that the global market is willing to accept dollar substitutes.
There are several ways that this can happen including Dollar Exchange, Dollar e-cash, Taproot Assets, Stable Channels, and Stable Sats.
Another alternative is a Ghost Address ( https://ghst.to ), which doesn't charge a fee, is unlikely to be regulated, pays directly to self-custody, and works as long as you're running Thunderhub.
A couple tradeoffs: it's trusted, it makes node accounting a bit strange, it doesn't work if you have competing HTLC interceptor services running.
A need within the lightning network is a better way to manage multiple HTLC interceptors, specifically a decision hierarchy between interceptor services. It's out of scope for us to build this at Amboss, but it'd be extremely helpful for the ecosystem.
On-chain addresses don't need an invoice; they can be paid spontaneously.
Lightning doesn't naturally support spontaneous payments, but there are a couple workarounds, including: keysend payments (pay to a node public key), zero-amount invoices (replace the amount with a different number), bolt12 (negotiate via onion messages between nodes),and lightning address (communicate with a server for a specific invoice).
We created Ghost Payments as part of @Amboss which enables a central lightning address server for all lightning nodes to use. It's a trusted setup, but enables nodes to receive spontaneous payments without running a separate lightning address server.
Compete against the spam.
Stop trying to fight it.
Create something so economically valuable that value transfer on the bitcoin network outcompetes arbitrary data.
To achieve this, we need onchain efficiency.
Alchemists globally obsessed over turning lead into gold, seeking a mythical philosopher's stone to accomplish the task.
Bitcoin becomes more scarce every 4 years, effectively achieving what the alchemists couldn't.
It's called a halving ➗
Our vision for the future of payments uses a currency that is native to the Internet. The fastest and most efficient method for trustless payments uses the #LightningNetwork on #Bitcoin.
In order to make this system broadly accessible, it needs connections to existing systems, which are complicated and highly regulated. To easily interface between these systems, payment operations need to automate compliance actions to make this future vision of internet-native currency be a reality.

By the way, there's a ton more to Reflex than what we've announced that answers far more of the operations components. All of the painful parts of lightning will be so much easier.
