Just for anyone who's interested in my 'Generative art on the Blockchain' project.
I deployed a smart contract on the #Ethereum Blockchain that generates an unique Signature, based on your wallet address, for every token that is minted. So only one token per wallet can be minted, because two tokens generated by one wallet address would result in the same Signature.
What makes this smart contract different:
The smart contract contains a #p5js script that renders the Signature in a HTML page. Each tokenURI is a json string that is generated inside the smart contract, with a 'animated_url' which contains the HTML page encoded as base64 string. So this page can always render the unique digital art work for every token directly in your browser, without any webhosting!
The idea behind the Signature:
With the Signature token in your wallet you can 'sign' the art work of my future collections.
How it works:
When you mint a new token with your Signature token ID, the contract will check the owner of the Signature and use the same 'Signature hash' as input. The new token will be generated with the same hash and show your Signature in the bottom of your new art work.
Future collections:
I am not yet working on a new collection at the moment. When the interest is there and 80% of the Signature tokens are minted, I will continue working on another smart contract.
* I created this project just to find out what I could program in a smart contract. You can mint your Signature for free on https://token365.art/signature.html
Who is heading to the Dutch Desgin Week? Last year I presented my 'Generative art on the Blockchain' project. If anyone ran into some cool projects, let me know!
