I could have done a Zap split with nostr:nprofile1qqsfpuyj8re4zneync4nx0npr8h0f95hqg8e2m7hkeejecgcm5d48jcprdmhxue69uhhyetvv9ujumn0wd68yurvv438xtnrdakj7qgkwaehxw309ahx7um5wfjkc6t5v4ejummjvuhsz8mhwden5te0dehhxarj94ex2mrp0yhxgetjv44k2mmnwvhx6ef0g9a028 I guess 🥹 But that's only supported by clients that have that feature implemented.

The Nostr ecosystem has various tools available to manage different aspects of your profile.
You can edit your profile data, backup and restore profile data and contact lists at https://metadata.nostr.com
You can delete Nostr events and content from supported relays at https://delete.nostr.com
You can edit and manage lists at https://listr.lol
You'll need a web browser that supports extensions or a bunker/signing application such as Amber to use these.
Check them out.
If all relays that you use disappeared then your profile would be gone. This probably would not happen in a short timeframe. This is why it's good to use multiple relays. This is also why it's good to run your own relay or download a backup from to time time. Realistically, your profile disappearing from all relays that you use probably won't happen. It's more probable that you would use a client that nukes your relay list or contact list and you need to restore from that mishap. This type of scenario happens often with new clients.
At first I was impressed that my battery usage is less than 1% but now I realize that Pokey has been stopping and not showing me notifications all day long, even though it is running.
I'm not using Graphene. I force closed and restarted the app. It seems to be working now. I'll see if it continues working the rest of the day. I wonder if Adaptive Battery killed the process?
Google is #12. Microsoft is not listed in the top 20. I can't find the video with a YouTube search, but it comes up with a Google search. I assume a YouTube algo took it out of search because of reports or strikes. YouTube's algos are way too damn aggressive.
imo, yes amethsyst is the best android client. for desktop it's a toss up between variosu web apps such as snort, primal, or coracle. i also use notedeck (alpha) and Gossip which are both native apps.
There are 65 days until 2025. That just 65 days to have all major clients implement the Outbox model to have my prediction come true. C'mon devs. You can do it! 🔥🔥🔥
If it were me, and I was going to want to cross post, I'd post to Nostr first, and then use https://connect.nos.social to cross back back to Twitter automatically.
I did do this for a while before I nuked my Twitter. It works well, for the most part. Sometimes the njump.me links don't look all that pretty, but mostly its better than not posting.
PSA: If your profile picture was hosted on void.cat in the past (you uploaded it via Snort or Iris for example) there's a good chance that it's nice missing and showing as a blank profile pic for most people. If you're not seeing this, it's most likely because your client is caching the image or uses a caching service. I'm seeing a lot of broken profiles.
