FTC and 17 states file a lawsuit against Amazon.

Many of the items listed are common complaints that have been a sort of slow burn up to now if you've been keeping up on their business practices. 

Hopefully the lawsuit will force positive change for consumers and sellers alike.

 Google killing off their basic HTML version of Gmail due to basic HTML not including 'full feature functionality' seems like code for 'we don't make ad revenue off this version'.

We relied on the basic HTML version while doing arctic fieldwork in 2017 using low bandwidth satellite internet. Gone were extraneous graphics and junk ads getting served - just mail. It's also no longer possible to auto sort messages in the full version without enabling tracking to serve ads.

 It has been revealed that University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) has sued thousands of patients, including their own employees, over unpaid medical debts that are sometimes as low as $100, but then tack on interest, attorney fees, and court filing charges.
