Agree they strike the best balance of form and function. If they think they can up things from what they did on top of gnome then it should be good enough for me
you have the smelling powers of a hungry wolf
boss is being moved to another team at work, she's been amazing and processing the changes
it's all part of a bigger reorg and our team isn't changing so the rest is relief but heavy for her and the team will miss her
jobs data came in at 12k vs expected 100k
I don't believe the numbers but I believe the FED will use this to lower rates again in November

The machines are pretty standard. Then they print to paper that you insert for counting.
I've seen some cases where you select one on screen and the paper it prints out is switched
I think all of the above are possible. I do find it interesting that the errors seem to go only one way. I think it's worth discussing and that's why I posted it
Derek, I appreciate you. I know we sit on different sides of this but I like that on nostr we follow each other and talk about it even if we don't agree.
I posted it because I think it's worth discussing. I find it interesting that these "glitches" seem to only go in one direction. Have you seen it go in the other direction? Not being sarcastic here but tone doesn't carry well online.
Second, I do think small scale fraud/cheating is possible and in an election that was as close as the last or this that can have big impacts. Last there are videos of people in leadership positions within dominion gloating about how they rigged things.
So could it be faulty hardware sure... could it be more ... I think so. I don't expect you to agree and that's life.
I don't know... Could be either but there are leaked videos of higher ups in dominion gloating about rigging things. Also hard to know if those are real
I think with anything that involves 300+ million people there is fraud. The effort has always been to minimize it so results are valid ish...
For example last place I worked, 50% of online purchase attempts were fraud... So you had to reduce the ones you accept to minimal or business fails
Understood and agreed on the dude is not a good man. I would say it's hard to have a good character person that high up in politics nowadays. I am also tired and I have also bought my share of cheap android tablets and have had screen issues.
I mentioned this in another thread but worked at a place where 50% of online purchase attempts were fraudulent so in a system with this many people I expect it. Part of modern times unfortunately.
I don't expect either side to fix the country so most my energy goes towards btc. Not sure that fixes everything either tbh but more hopeful.
Appreciate you and your thoughts.
