If all you want is to mask your IP, and you're not interested in having many exit nodes, you can get a #VPS or two & setup a true VPN with #Tailscale, rather than paying for a glorified proxy. Those VPSs can give you other utility too beside network routing, eg. you can host a #SimpleX relay or turn server, etc.

Logseq is great for me, but it's notoriously local only. It'd be sweet to host my notes privately somewhere, and use Nostr as a sort of DHT to punch into that hosted repo, so all my devices stay synced 😏

Regenerative farming vs industrial farming is the dilemma. It doesn't matter whether it's animals or plants or fungus.
You may have an idea in your mind about what it's like to slaughter & process a cow, but I promise you, it can be done very humanely, if the cow is alone, lived a happy life, & never sees it coming. Industrial farmers care nothing about ecological balance or humane conditions. They'd rather genetically mutate the things they grow to survive on depleted land, than simply let the land regenerate itself.
