How to chose a browser in 2023:

- Chrome, belongs to the largest advertising company

- Firefox, gets most of its income from making Google (the search engine of the largest advertising company) the default choice

- Safari, could afford to be different but “privacy champion” Apple gets about 15 billion per year for the ad company’s search engine to be the default

@0c1a9324 @a68330c8 I find plane hopping and passport / security entering EU to be the worst when we fly from Rio de Janeiro to Geneva. The rest is just boring & tedious and uncomfortable but that part where you have to line up and feel like you’re under arrest and fear you don’t have the right docs etc is the most stressful.

In comparison while also exhausting a 10 hour drive in seems very relaxing (and I don’t like driving particularly). Having no fixed time helps.
#Mozilla's recent article about privacy issues with *all* modern cars is pretty horrifying.

I'll...
@fc501b69 This is probably good news as it would mean cars have become mostly unnecessary. Enshitification mostly happens to stuff depending on a dwindling business model. There was a day when most people who had a computer had a printer. Nowadays nobody would dare launching a new printer brand. We just have the old players abusing their customers.
