We simply cannot continue to do politics in the way we are accustomed: mass media had its checks and balances. Those no longer exist. Mass election is overshadowed by doubt. Even worse, it witness the certainty of fakeness at every corner.
We need honesty, and so far it only comes with locality. Politics in the digital age need to do away with the middle man. What a paradox.
The future of Latin America depends upon free cities in a league. Given that only Costa Rica, Panamá, Chile and a handful of islands in the Caribbean have good governance, the impact of the success of these cities will be great.
