What makes something a "Nostr app" or a "Nostr site"? Some are more obvious than others. Looked at the Github code on many of the big ones I often see stated as such and for some of them, much of their operations use outside resources for storage, databases, etc. Only login or identifying an account npub are Nostr related. #asknostr

 Checking in on Nostr again. See the same influencer bias and favoritism still on this platform. News and trending sources cover the same accounts over and over again so much it's not even funny. The usual social media cliches happening here as Twitter or whatever my X wants to be called nowadays. Low followed account makes a brilliant post, barely any attention. Popular social media circle jerked account makes the same point two months later and they are hailed as a visionary for it. Nostr developers, ever wonder why some get more attention than others even if they aren't really doing more? And don't get me started on why some "cheerleaders" get so much attention. Careful everyone, you are being manipulated on an "algo free" service.
