@03a95182 That makes some sense. I am someone who had a story struck down/changed for what I would argue are far, far lower stakes, but that was also ~ a decade ago. Things were quite different then I guess.
Didn’t think I’d care much about the new video screensavers in #macOSSonoma, but they’re actually quite nice.
Gorgeous videos, of course. But it’s a surprisingly cool effect seeing them transition from moving on the login screen to the desktop, then they slow down and stop to become your background, whatever frame the video ends at. Pretty slick. #Apple #macOS
Some interesting extra features #Apple just announced coming to #iOS17, like collaborative #AppleMusic playlists and AirPlay Over Internet, for when you and your recipient need to step away but the transfer isn’t finished.
But how will that work? Does it just anonymously bounce the rest of the transfer through iCloud? That sounds cool. https://9to5mac.com/2023/09/13/new-ios-17-features-coming-later-this-year/ #iOS
Uh, is Login with #Twitter effectively broken for websites now because of all the dumb API changes?
We're adding social logins to the Bear forum and... AFAICT it's impossible to add Login with Twitter now. Am I missing something?
(Personally I'd rather not add Twitter at all, but it's still one of our large customer support channels so it is arguably worth adding as we're trying to move more of our community to our forum, and this will give some of those users an easy path to joining)
Hey #Apple devs, got a layperson question about working with stuff in iCloud for Bear: a long time ago, Apple specified that file attachments to notes that sync in apps like Bear had a limit of 250MB.
But I recently ran into a user who claims they have attached files of 5-6GB in size to a Bear note, and they supposedly sync just fine.
Anyone know if Apple has changed this limit, and hopefully stated as such somewhere?
