I'm glad that millions of people on Bluesky are (re)discovering that social media can be used for sharing and vulnerability and connection. Not just debate.
The concerns about blocking seem to come from a viewpoint that the sole purpose of social media is debate.

OK, new plan everyone. Between September 21 and March 21, days are 24 hours + 20 seconds. Then, between March 21 and September 21, days are 24 hours - 20 seconds.
20 seconds a day instead of an entire hour twice a year.
