We're gonna relax for the evening now, and try not to think about the cost of the new a/c system we'll be getting installed soon.  My mexican mint marigold is in full bloom.  It can be used as a substitute for french tarragon, and has a flavor similar to licorice or anise.  I can smell the fragrant leaves when i brush up against it. I have added it to homemade sourdough, also to salads, and of course teas.  So we are needing to replace our a/c system, and one of the options the guy is giving us is installing a mini split whole house system.  I like the idea in our case because currently our ducts are under the house, and we've had issues with rodents chewing it.  Not a good idea, especially in the country.  We could go with metal ducting, but that would be very pricey.  Anyone have actual experience with a whole house mini split system?  We have that in our small bnb cabin, and once we found the right guy with experience, we are happy with it.   #asknostr

We're having our a/c system replaced in the next couple weeks, and i'm just glad its not the middle of summer and 100 degrees outside.  The a/c company is working up some options for us, as far as price, but i know its gonna be painful.  Its always something.  
Today should just be the usual chores around here, so nothing special.  The rooster is crowing, so its time to get going.  Hi nostr, just a quick check in after a busy but enjoyable day.  Gosh i have a very long list of stuff i need to do, and we'll have company the next two weekends, so i need to prep for that.  Today i did get to do some trimming of shrubs, but have alot more to do.  Its that time of year when i want to be outdoors all the time, to enjoy the weather.  Good morning nostr friends, its a chilly 49F after the cool front blew in yesterday.  I was outside when it arrived, the wind picked up, all the trees moving.  Then i waited for the cool blast.  And just like that, it was 15 degrees cooler, humidy all gone.  To me there's something special about a northern front blowing in, it always amazes me how the weather can change in an instant.  
On the homestead i need to do some trimming of shrubs, lots of them.  And then there's the endless trimming up on the trails.  Also i need to deliver some soaps to the lady at church that placed an order.  Anyway, yall have a great Tuesday, enjoy your coffee, and do your work with a happy heart.  Good morning nostr, here it is Monday again.  This morning after my walk i need to finish the turnover at the cabin, then i have to pack up some soaps for an order request for a  church member.  Plus lots of other little things today.
Last night i dreamed there was a honeybadger going around swallowing people alive, even pulling folks out of cars and just swallowing them.  But sometimes the police would arrest him, and the victim could be pulled out of the honeybadger, still alive.  I love dreams like that.
