The entire network of systems seem designed to trip us up, to suppress our joy and freedom and siphon off any gains we make. Certainly the siphoning is real.

A friend of mine, here in Aus, has been relentlessly shitposting on UK copshops, the home office, politicians and others accounts over what is occurring there.
Today he's started receiving multiple phone calls from a London number. He thinks it's hilarious.

He's certainly overconfident, due to being a lucky sob for most of his life. He loves the chaos.
The real reason they want to find life on Mars is because it's not bothering anyone and just wants to be left alone and the governments of the world can't have that.
All life must be found and made miserable through debt slavery, taxation and threats of violence, no matter where it is in the solar system.

Its funny how governments label things in reverse of what they actually do. Marketed today as a way to keep your data out of the hands of businesses, like hotels and clubs, that might get hacked.

Nothing, other than the reputational hit they would take. There a level of trust, but we allow banks to hold our dollars. Just don't hold a lot in there, treat it like a real wallet, a few hundred bucks maybe, not thousands.

I'm working from this book, heaps of different recipes in it.
It's basically a medium cabbage and a tablespoon of salt. Chop the cabbage finely, add the salt and knead/crush in a bowl until you get lots of liquid. Then into a jar, weighing the cabbage down under the liquid, for 5-7 days at room temp.
