@90431d67 I think there’s a large contingency of people who subscribe to the idea that bleeping = more funny. 

 @90431d67 as someone who’s not a fan of the massive overuse and of `final` everywhere, I think you actually have a very valid use case here. It is getting very frustrating that `final` is used on everything.

And, yes, I’m an advocate of composition over inheritance in most cases. Even so, I’ve run into situations where a simple, quick extension of a class that is almost perfect would be just fine and call it a day. But, it was declared `final` so that can’t be done. 

 @90431d67 I hadn’t noticed, but I do think the show gets better and better. Or maybe my tolerance for it has gotten better?

I think early on it was not what I wanted from Trek and there wasn’t as much good new Trek. Now that we have SNW and we had a great season of Picard I guess I give it more leeway.

But what I really wanted from a Star Trek animated show was Clone Wars or Rebels, but for Star Trek. Prodigy gave us that, but unfortunately the powers that be seem to be trying to get rid of it 😞
