 So, let me get this right, the idea is to transplant corals on reefs where corals died due to pollution and global warming... so how is this going to help? Corals died because of the inhospitable conditions....so anything you transplant there is going to die.

 Yes, more expensive and less healthy, so not a good option to reduce the environmental footprint of industrial livestock agriculture.
