They could use it to pay for whatever frowned upon items or services they provide or purchase. I don't think members of the famous Blood gang like the name crypto... They can create bloodcoin.  
Use Bloodcoin to buy services from gang members anonymously, just don't call it cryptocurrency... As they rival the Crip gang.
