the reason is that he wants to separate himself from the Ds, Rs, and any others (including the Gs) that have a narrow and specific agenda.
the Rs and Ds have spent decades convincing us that voting for anyone who’s not a D or R is “wasting their vote.” both of them claim to represent a majority of voters, when in fact, more folks are registered as Independents than either the Rs or Ds.
I have a window sticker reading, “We the people have had enough.”
