Bah! YouTube ads were actually very acceptable, until a few days ago when they started testing how much they can get away with. I'm now getting interrupted every 5-7 minutes.

Nope. No. Very no. I'm just not using the service for a while to do my little part in tanking the metrics for whichever experiment group I'm in.

Since I got a subscription to dropout.tv, I haven't felt much of a need for YouTube anyway.
