I drove to the gas station to fill up a couple propane tanks, and the young East Indian guy who recently bought the gas station and has been doing a great job with it, was standing in the parking lot by himself. I walked up slowly and asked him if he was ok, and he just broke. Turns out his fiance back home cheated on him. Hes came over and has been working hard to make a better life for them. 
I didnt say too much. I just stayed there and tried to listen until he felt a little less alone.  He's going to be ok. He doesnt know it yet, but he is. He might even be better. New year, new beginings.
