Are they wrong? We do all that stuff. And the US executes far more people, in both absolute and relative terms.

I'll add that Iran also has elections, and whether or not they're credible elections, what I know is that OUR elections aren't credible. Meanwhile our media calls them a dictatorship. 

Iran is inconvenient because it shows America's hypocrisy.
