Many, many years ago, the trap under the kitchen sink was leaking. Actually kept a bucket under it for long time. I  bought a Time-Life plumbing book (back in the day, they put out a series of how-to books.) I replaced the trap. Leak gone. I literally jumped for joy. It was my start. Have taken on dozens of repairs in following years. Yes, nothing like the satisfaction of fixing something yourself. Kudos 👏👏👏😊
