I became a coffee snob years ago, when I was still building audio stuff I ran into a guy that showed me the world of home roasting and blending different beans. I can’t drink any other coffee except what we roast at home
The problem now is I’ve gone full carnivore, and had some blood pressure concerns ( sucks getting old and fat)
I stopped the coffee for awhile and had no real issues leaving it out
But my lady found a new bean and she roasts in a cast iron wok that makes a wonderful brew. I’ve been having one cup with butter in the morning and it’s amazing
But I noticed my sweet tooth and other cravings coming up
Maybe I stop for a few months completely than pick it up again
Anyway, enough rambling
Try roasting yer own beans at home it’s amazing

 Respect! 🫡 ☕️
same here, so I turned it into a Cottage family business https://image.nostr.build/b04495af2c58ce5097392f8a1a29c7e0b5026d76bcc90065d1fb0ebd1e9d9da7.jpg
 Cool beans
Hot coffee
My favorite blend
1pt Tanzanian Pea Berry (city ++)
2pt Ethiopian Yrgachafee ( normal recommended roast )
Crap now I can’t remember
Anyway one of the two is roasted darker than normal recommend (Sweet Marie’s recommendation) then experiment with ratio
Love this one !
But my lady whom I’ve turned this over to gets to decide what we drink
Our favorite ( when we can get it) is Tres Rios Costa Rica . Some small estate on the side of a volcano.
Right now she is using a Honduran estate grown
I’m happy with it
She likes roasting, out doors of course
Have fun
Drinking a Yirgacheffe gr1 that I roasted on Wednesday. It’s fantastic.
I buy a lot of experimental teas and green coffees from:
https://burmancoffee.com

they offer a refined selection at solid, sometimes below market prices
