This is Iran in 1979 just before massive numbers of COLLEGE STUDENTS in Iran were led to believe their government was "oppressive" and decided to call for change though protests and violence.

There is a reason such people are considered "useful idiots". Iran was a modern, safe and quite free nation before it fell to Islamic Militant Rule.

So was Egypt, so was Iraq, so was Afghanistan. Seeing a pattern yet? The difference here is about 50 million Americans who are not willing to let this shit happen are heavily armed.

Think about that every time a politician uses the term "gun safety regulation".

I met a girl from Iran a few months ago. She said that they force you to wear hijab even though she wasn’t Muslim. She stressed that Americans don’t know what it’s like to be oppressed. She had some other stories but I forgot them. I don’t think the story is so simple
Iran confuses a lot of people. It is not an "Arab" country per se but rather the indigenous population are Persians, more closely related to Europeans in looks and manners (see video above) that the surrounding Semites (Jews and Arabs). Sadly after the US betrayed the Shah of Iran in the 70's the religious nuts took over and the population was divided; Christian and Muslim.
Yeah they speak Farsi I believe. I think the biggest divider is that they are Shia while the rest of the Muslim world is Sunni. I didn’t know they had a lot of Christians there. If they just let go of religion, people would have less “morals” to kill each other over. Ironic.
Yup. The pursuit of god, no matter what the flavor has fucked up tons of people down through the centuries.
People just cherry pick whatever parts of religion they claim to be a part of , to justify their actions. Religion is just an excuse.
 🎯
The regime of Iran is terrible, but if you want to understand history you need to know that the government of the sha started with a coup which was supported by USA and CIA, so big part of the population didn't believe it was a legitimate government and that is why the revolution started. The interventionism of USA is the cause of big part of the problems the world faces at the moment.
Since I lived though it I know, it changes NOTHING about what I said.
You lived through the CIA coup in Iran? You were like 10 years old watching Mighty Mouse cartoons and yet you lived through it?

Sorry Bro.
Dip stick I mean simply that I observed it as it all occurred. I don't give a fuck that our CIA fucked around in Iran, we fuck around everywhere. My point was how idiotic young people are used and the danger it presents. If you want to stick your head up your own ass and hide from that reality, go ahead.

Not sorry "bro".
 Use your words Jack.

Maybe when you "lived through" the CIA backed coup in Iran you were thinking of a movie you saw?

I am not going to continue having a discussion with a person who has chosen to behave like a retard.
And I don't like liars who can't apologize, so we are even.
Well shit, that’s going to be rough to hear for 99% of your podcast subscribers. If that’s your stance, I think you’ll have to change your target demographic.
I was thinking the pattern was US intervention, not gun control.
There is more to the story.

All the Shah's Men: An American Coup and the Roots of Middle East Terror https://a.co/d/aI64KZp
I am well aware of the roll America played, I lived though it and watched it happen. Nothing you said, nothing in that book alters one word of what I said.
The book presents a different reason for the students' protests and it had more to with their opposition to our government than to their own. Carter granting asylum to the Shah (albeit for medical/mercy reasons) was the flashpoint, at least according to the author. Given the track record of US meddling there, I don't think their concerns were unjustified (let alone "idiotic").

That said, I'm in agreement with the main point of your post: never give up your firearms.
Of course but again it changes nothing about what I said.
"Spreading democracy" is the CIA's cover-story when they destroy overseas competition for America's military, industrial and mercantile supremacy. We are beginning to witness it within our own borders, whether its from foreign or domestic intelligence doesen't change that we are in the process of being overthrown from within
or somebody says, "we dont need L1 privacy"
The US is the best at propaganda. I always love the names of the wars, like "Operation Spreading Freedom and Democracy", before inflicting death and misery on millions of people.
