I won't lie, I love what I currently do. I do small collections on behalf of different cities and townships for like speeding tickets and other fines. People compliment me on how nice, quick and professional I am on the phones (I even had a guy today say I have a radio voice 😆). I'm also like the only white guy there so like I never "are you calling from India?". I basically say pay ticket or risk license suspension. I have a background being a manager for a door to door company representing save the children and I used to be a credit operations manager for Rogers 😅 so collections is easy and fun, especially when you have the ability to talk back to rude people and not get in trouble because they in collections. That being said. They know I'm really good at my job and want me to work on bank portfolio doing like 3rd and 5th assignment which is like hardest shit on the planet. The commissions is extremely higher but trade off is, I'm dealing with 30 year old debt that is like $500,000 😆.
