I read the report further and it did seem that way as far as the larger trends were reported. Mostly older and terminally ill. Which I agree is more humane. I’ve seen people die sick slow deaths from cancer and dementia and wished they could be put down humanely. We do it for our pets…

The report states “in 2022, 463 MAID provisions were individuals whose natural deaths were not reasonably foreseen.” So 3.5% of total MAID cases.
