You'd be a better judge than me, I wasn't there. I've dealt with some real idiots in a few DMVs. I can confirm my Social Security card is laminated and I used a birth certificate from the Jeff County health department.

I attached a picture of the corner of my card on the back to show it's even a crappy job on the lamination .
