i merember that @Coddiwompler59 had a modded nfc card he'd programmed to send his npub to any device that uses it, when i bumped into him at bitcoin atlantis perhaps you should consider modifying the purchase ordering to allow users to ask for an npub to be burned in and locked for them, and maybe even add their npub and display name to the back in the style of a credit card (npub as the card number part) - i have a xapo card, mastercard, yes, and on the back is where the actual card number and expiry etc are located maybe even putting a unix timestamp of the oldest note you can find from them too... in place of expiry and CVC

That's right... I used NFC Tools Pro on Android to change the information on the card. Mind you, that the memory is quite small so info you can put on there is limited. I used a CoinCorner Bolt card then I also printed out a QR code with personal email, nostr pub-key, X-handle and other information on it. So you could either use the NFC or just scan the QR kode. I bought the card online before the Bitcoin Atlantic conference but never was able to put money on it because I couldn't set up an account. meh, i can wait, i almost never go outside my house anyway, and am super wary of any shady looking bastards who seem keen to get close to me like they might be skimming my NFC cards the faces i will get when i flash this thing with "bitcoin is better" written on it and then keep it facing towards them so when the reader reads it it winks a zap at them oh yeah people will notice and remember, it will be very novel indeed and i might just make a home-made faraday cage out of cardboard and alfoil anyway
