Maybe it is a wake up call for the dad. Stop wasting your money on a college. Just like high school. Will probably do more harm than good to your kids. Not teaching you the life skills to get a good job and be a fully functioning adult. 

Lesson for today just drop out of college, opt out school loan debt slavery, and acquire some real life experience instead. 

Maybe look into apprenticeships and self education courses that offer certifications. This will make you infinitely better off in life.
