Yeah they do. They tend to lighten images a fair bit for various reasons. Some of that is for printing as images need to be lightened so that they print properly. Darker skin can also be tough to light well. I find that with my own wife and her family versus mine. You almost need to edit them seperately. I'm just frankly not inclined to say "that's racism" like others might be. Maybe there's the occasional instance of that but I think print and lighting account for 90+% of it.
Speaking of which some of the pics that's appearing of VP Kamala lately are comically retouched 🤣
