Have you ever been in the company of individuals or a group that leaves you feeling drained, frustrated, or even depressed when they depart?
It's a common experience to find ourselves among such people and allow their influence to persist throughout much of our lives. We sense that something is amiss, yet often feel powerless to enact change. Once we comprehend the toll it takes on our vitality, with no reciprocation, we decisively draw a line under this past ordeal. Nevertheless, that person continues to infiltrate our life, attempting to extract any shred of our goodwill, as this is what sustains their dependent personality.
Engaging in their games won't offer any assistance. In doing so, we merely reinforce destructive patterns within them, within ourselves, and inadvertently spread toxicity to our surroundings.
Only when we establish clear boundaries does the person cease their pursuit. Perhaps not immediately, but eventually, they exhaust themselves.
Let the lives of those who have achieved this after enduring harrowing experiences be a profound source of inspiration
