It's a good idea to get the yellow fever vaccine before traveling to some African countries. Ethiopia doesn’t require vaccination for entry, but Japan’s Ministry of Health recommends it.

In Hong Kong, places that offer the yellow fever vaccine are limited, and appointments are booked months in advance.

In my case, I opted to get vaccinated at a hospital in Malaysia, where they told me I could come in as soon as the next day.
