Muharram-ul-Haram, the first month of the Islamic calendar, is a period of deep reflection, mourning, and spiritual renewal. The Day of Ashura, the 10th day of the month, commemorates the martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain Razi Allah Anhu. The Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) has unveiled a code of conduct for Muharram-ul-Haram, emphasizing unity, respect, and adherence to Islamic principles. The code outlines guidelines for peaceful observance, including avoiding divisive rhetoric, protecting religious sites, conducting peaceful processions, and promoting messages of peace in the media. Religious scholars and leaders across the country have called for efforts to maintain peace and tranquility during Muharram-ul-Haram and throughout the year. IRCRA President Muhammad Israr Madani highlights the significance of Muharram-ul-Haram as a time for introspection and recommitment to compassion and tolerance. He urges adherence to the CII's guidelines to honor the legacy of Hazrat Imam Hussain Razi Allah Anhu and work towards a more harmonious and just society.
