Syria has urged the United Nations to take action against the USA for its occupation of parts of Syrian territory and illegal extraction of natural resources in those areas.

Damascus says the US military has caused $115 billion in direct and indirect harm to Syria’s oil and mineral riches sector between 2011 and 2023. 

US and NATO attempts to partition Syria have no basis in international law.
