 Lots of pride to go around, which can be a good an bad thing I suppose. I think many professional developers, those with experience in product, or industry tend to be a bit more open to criticism but I can't speak for everyone. I'm sure I have my pain points too. I broke my signer a few weeks ago when I saw you were very active on feedback, and enthusiasm, I wanted to jump in but yeah, had to fix my shit. 

No one should stop you from sharing fair critiques, however there will always be tension between build that build things and those that simply use them. I wish it wasn't this way, but I think that's where most of us started. I have an idea, most think it's dumb, I'll prove them wrong. Either 1 of 2 things happen, if you work hard enough (and have an objectively good idea), you prove them wrong, or you learn they were right, lick your wounds and get back at it!
