nostr:npub1qxpk8skh4rswu2gn4gf3n7yss058dcd4vv9573m9njz5mrag5fusgrhd54 Here in northern Germany (#Zone7a ), the beans hardly ever make it to drying on the trellis. They rather rot in wet weather. So I pick them when the pods feel soft with swollen beans inside.
After podding, the beans are spread out on trays and/or newspaper and left in the warm kitchen for drying.
When dry, we store them in glasses.
