If you could snap your fingers and get rid of ONE tax, which would you choose and why?

1. Income tax
2. Property tax
3. Inheritance tax
4. Capital gains tax
If you found it impossible to choose because taxation is government theft enforced with the threat of violence for noncompliance, follow @Titcoin
Income. Initially, I thought property but damn income tax is heavy.
 Income for sure
TAX. As in the concept being removed from the lexicon.
Depends on which of the taxes costs you more over the long term. For most, it'll be income. For some, it may be inheritance, capital gains, ect.
Ya, I was thinking that as well. If you have a huge business and purposely have a small income and have massive stock option than capital gains tax would make sense but then again there is ways around that as the rich borrow against their asset. All this fiat gymanistic is why I stack sats. Just keep it simple.
Inheritance tax purest form of communism
I'll switch it up: the only one I'd keep is property tax. We don't have inheritance tax in Canada (shocking, I know, seeing as how we have every other tax plus we specialize in taxes on tax like HST on a carbon tax). Taxin your efforts to earn and then spend and support an economy is stupid. Taxing your earning from risking your capital in investments is stupid. Taxing your property to support the community and services that you use is less stupid. That includes any rental/investment properties you may own and benefit from. Income and capital gains are kinda the same bent. Property tax is less so.
income tax; it discourages a good work ethic.
Income tax. Implementing it requires breaching Americans privacy rights... Moreso than the others I think.
Property tax!! It's the hardest to evade or starve the state with.

Income tax is easy not to pay. Just stop making money

Inheritance is easily evaded with Bitcoin(don't leave your BTC to anyone😉)

Capital gains can be deferred by clever engineering

But the tax that actually cotified our slavery to the USA is the exit tax. Before that you could "just leave"(with our wealth) if you didn't like your masters. After Bill Clinton we can't even do that

Income tax by far. It discourages productive work and has allowed them to creep their way into our lives even more.
Because I try to have a long time horizon and would like to retire one damn day, capital gains tax
Income. Allow people to save and then tax consumption.
2 and because it’s the one I read about/see mentioned the most 🤗
Cap gains tax, that's the one that will hit us most if we save and spend in Bitcoin
All of them are theft enforced by greedy, egotistical power mongers and their minions. But, property tax is the worst because it guarantees that “ownership” of property is not possible without regular protection payments to the mob.
Income. Production should not be taxed over consumption.
Fuck all 4 of them right off!
 Capital Gains
Income tax. This was deemed unconstitutional before 1913 in the USA. It can be abolished legally.
 „tax“

I would get rid of the word tax.
What’s left for the people is:

1. Income
2. Property
3. Inheritance
4. Capital gains
 3. Inheritance

Double taxing
Ruins the incentive to build wealth
Probably property tax. Capital gains is easily avoidable if you live a modest life. Income tax (USA Federal) can be mitigated. Games can be played with inheritance as well through proper estate planning. I feel property tax is the hardest to escape, and do not appreciate that it's practically treated as a form of unrealized capital gains tax.
Capital gains tax. This is the one that incentivises the destruction of money by the state the most. Removal would also accelerate Bitcoin adoption which would lead to the minimisation of the other taxes.
They're all forms of the same evil but, if I'd start with property tax.

It might seem like the least amount taken each year but it's the foundation on which the rest of the extortion racket rests.
Inheritance tax is the only where the government has an incentive to kill.
Being taxed for working and actually adding value to society seems to be the most ridiculous tax to me. Also, this tax is hurting every level of society and especially the middle class. So for me definitely income tax.
 1. because it is unconstitutional, and because it allows the veneer to remain that U.S. citizen earnings fund the government. No, inflation funds the government; income tax is just a boot up all the normie butts.
 1) because of the privacy violation requirements to enforce it and because it encourages non-production
I think some tax like property tax and sales tax are good

Otherwise you are using roads, getting other government services for free like a criminal (taking/using something for nothing)

I'm not a criminal
You might not be a criminal according to the gov but you might be aiding criminal activities when you justify taking money from people without their consent. You don't know if the money you pay in taxes are going to be spent on wars in the middle east or drag shows in Europe. If people had the choice to monitor and vote were their money is spent instead of choosing people the current system may fail.
Thanos would like to have a word
Fuck off glowie, I'm not filing taxes
 Income.

Because it requires the most financial surveillance if it's going to be enforced.
 I concur.
Easy. Income. It was supposed to be temporary anyways…
 Income tax
 Income
income tax, so very likely more people will benefit from it.. or to better say, less people will be robbed.
 Income tax for sure.
 Tax
 Smoke Tax.
Would make my boxes o' smokes cheaper o.o...
Income tax. Would be a big game changer
 Income tax
Probably Taxidermy. It’s just fucking weird.
income no question. would unleash himan flourishingon a massive scale
