Filet is one of the most expensive, it’s so good though. I typically prefer ribeyes, but rarely eat them. I’m a pleb and eat sirloin and flatiron, tritips. All the budget cuts.
I only like them if I add back in some element of the savory richness that it's lean nature lacks, like a sauce or reduction. With a ribeye though & a little salt, I'm fully satisfied. I buy both cuts all the time & can't really choose a "winner" after thousands of trials so... 😏
