Swatch Group's Hamilton Watch has opened its first US store in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, marking a homecoming for the brand. The iconic watch company was founded in 1892 and has a rich legacy, having been the official "Watch of Railroad Accuracy" and preferred watch for pilots during the early days of aviation. The new store is located on Duke Street and features refurbished historic fixtures from the late 19th century. Hamilton Watch CEO Vivian Stauffer emphasized the importance of legacy in choosing Lancaster as the location for the first US store, stating that it's a chance to give back to American customers who are proud of the brand's heritage.
