It's obviously time tested. How the hell do you think we knew what they (Deep State) was going to do. 

You act as if you haven't done decades of research on Trump as if you just showed up halfway in the fight and when Trump kicks them in the balls you scream foul. 

Trust me, I definitely applaud your healthy skepticism to politics and the government but at least understand it enough to know when things are also going right other than just smart enough to think something isn't going well. Reminds me of engineers out of college with no field experience and only smart enough to talk about it. Some of us actually have personal experiences.
