Because I come from the youngest colony in the Empire, our history only dates back around 200 years of colonisation, and 400 years of native populace. Archaeology and History are two things we severely lack, so I find a country like England to be interesting in that respect.

Our history can mostly be memorised over a weekend, but England can be studied over a lifetime.
