I have been in Germany multiple times and visited the Cologne Cathedral, which is large Gothic building, several times. But visiting France is definitely on my list. BTW, we just came back from St Pierre et Miquelon and visited French Polynesia last year and Guadeloupe and Martinique a few years ago. While definitely French, there is no Gothic architecture.
